Emma & Billy | Fall State Park Engagement Session

Complimentary Engagement Sessions -a Must from your Delaware Wedding Photographer

When you’re planning your Delaware or Eastern Shore wedding, finding the right photographer is a top priority. While your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, I create tangible moments for you to look at and relive for years to come. Engagement sessions are an essential part of the wedding photography experience. Couples do not want awkward photos but being in front of the camera is usually hard for at least one of you. That’s why I include engagement photo sessions as a complimentary service with our wedding photography packages.

Get Comfortable in Front of the Camera

For many couples, the engagement session is their first professional photography experience together. It’s natural to feel a bit nervous or unsure about how to pose. My complimentary engagement session helps you both get comfortable in front of the camera without any pressure. During this session, you’ll discover that I want you two to walk around. Its actually the first thing we start with- walking. I haven't had a single couple have trouble with this!

Build a Connection with Your Photographer

As your wedding photographer I will be by your side throughout one of the most important days of your life. Your engagement session gives you two a chance to hang out in front of the camera where you discover, I want the two of your to be yourselves. It really is that simple. Helping each other stay out of the water, taking your pup for a walk, and sitting on steps.

Many couples use engagement photos for save-the-dates, wedding websites, or decor at their reception. Including this session as part of your package ensures you have professional-quality images to easily use.

Eliminate Surprises

Your complimentary engagement session doubles as a practice run for your wedding day. You’ll learn how your photographer approaches lighting, composition, and timing. In turn, your photographer will observe how you interact and encourage you to be confident in front of the camera. One of the many things that wedding photographers do is edit your photos consistently each and every time. This means that I manually adjust the colors of your photos to be accurate in each lighting situation of your wedding day. My editing ensures that your skin tone is accurate which means that your wedding party dresses and suits, flowers, decor, etc. are an accurate color of what your guests see.

As a Delaware wedding photographer, I’m passionate about capturing love stories in this beautiful state. From the scenic coastline to the charming small towns, Delaware and Maryland offers endless possibilities for breathtaking engagement and wedding photos.
