Engagment photos at Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, provides for year round beauty. This Pennsylvania couple headed outside for a short time to capture the winter green beauty and then retreated indoors for warmth and colorful floral backdrops indoors. Kate hired me to photograph her twin sister's marriage proposal in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware where we faked a family photo session. Kate's twin sister hired me for her wedding (see Liz's engagement session here) and shortly after that Kate hired me for her wedding as well.
This was a particularly busy day at Longwood Gardens; however, I was able to create photos without visitors in the shot. For a few photos the couple stood on a bench which elevated them above the other guests. (Post processing also helped.)
These two love birds met on a trip to England and Ireland in 2013! Blade bought Kate a drink and the rest is history!
The photo above was taken inside the Children's Garden and I promise you there were children and adults enjoying their time all around us.
This photo was used on their "Plot Twist" update card due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. It can be seen here in their wedding details.
This photo was taken at the end of our session when I said it would be our last photo. It wasn't, however all the light pouring through the doors was too beautiful not to frame this couple.
